Most personalised star maps are designed and proofed within 24–48 hours (usually much sooner), with production and dispatch typically completed within 3–5 business days after approval. Australia-wide courier delivery then generally takes another 2–5 business days depending on your postcode. Need it urgently? We also offer a Priority Service option for rush orders.

Yes — absolutely. Every personalised star map order receives a digital proof before printing. We’ll normally send this within 48 hours (usually much sooner), and you’re welcome to request as many tweaks and adjustments as needed until you’re 100% happy with the design. We always carefully read any notes submitted with the order as well, so if there’s anything you’re unsure about or would like customised further, simply mention it in the notes section when ordering.

Yes — every star map is generated using real astronomical data based on the exact date, time and location you provide. We plot the visible constellations, brighter stars and moon phase as they would have appeared from that location at that moment in time.

Yes — every star map is designed, printed and framed locally in Australia by our small team in Noosa, Queensland and Booragoon, Perth. We do not outsource production overseas or use third-party drop-shipping suppliers.

Absolutely. Nearly every part of the design can be customised, including colours, wording, quotes, names, date formats, constellation labels and layout styles. If there’s something specific you’d like changed, simply leave a note during checkout — we’ll always read it carefully and incorporate it into your proof where possible.

Not at all. Our ordering system is designed to cover lots of different artwork styles and options, so sometimes customers aren’t 100% sure which selections best match what they’re after. The main thing is simply to complete the basics as best you can and add any extra information or questions into the notes section. We always carefully read the notes alongside your selections and will work back and forth with you during the proofing stage until everything looks exactly right.

That’s completely fine. An approximate time is usually more than enough for the star map to look visually accurate, especially for evening events. If you’re unsure, simply give your best estimate and we can help guide you if needed.

Yes — we also offer a digital star map option for customers who would prefer a high-resolution digital file rather than a physical print. The cost is $50 AUD and includes the finished high-resolution artwork file ready for printing or sharing. As with our printed products, you’ll still receive a proof first and are welcome to request tweaks until you are 100% happy with the final design.

For bedrooms and living spaces, our most popular sizes are 90×60cm and 120×80cm. Smaller formats suit desks, nurseries and gallery walls, while larger floating-frame pieces create more impact above beds, sofas and dining consoles. If you’re unsure, feel free to email us a photo of the wall space and rough dimensions and we’ll happily recommend suitable sizes.

We calibrate our printers using professional ICC colour profiles to ensure excellent colour accuracy. Because every screen displays colours slightly differently, minor variation can occur, but the finished prints are designed to closely match the proof you approve.

Yes — all stretched canvas prints, framed prints and floating frames arrive fully assembled and ready to hang straight from the box. Rolled canvases and paper prints are supplied unstretched for customers arranging their own framing.

No — we use premium archival pigment inks and professional-grade materials designed for long-term indoor display. With normal care and display out of direct harsh sunlight, your star map should retain its colour beautifully for decades.

In the unlikely event your order arrives damaged, simply contact us within 7 days and we’ll arrange a replacement as quickly as possible. Every order is carefully packaged for safe Australia-wide delivery.
